Glide Spirit
A few sundays ago I attended church with Lauren and a few of her friends at Glide Memorial Church in the San Francisco tenderloin. The old and famous sanctuary is well known for serving the homeless and the poverty stricken community. Also known for it's diversity across all realms...this is the 'come as you are' church. It was a loud, lively and passionate experience including singing, dancing and maybe a little hopping around with the holy ghost. Definitely a new experience for this mid-western gal.
